Could you be our new Teaching Assistant?

The post is for 30 hours per week and is term time only.

Veritas Range 4-7 - £21,389 - £28,466 (Pro-rata - £14,663 - £19,514) dependant on experience

If so, we are looking to appoint a new Teaching Assistant to support irresistible learning through individual, small group and whole class settings.

The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with children.  You need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to support children in a learning enviroment.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop further skills and expertise within this field of education. You will work as part of a very supportive team who have positive relationships with outside agencies. We are committed to the inclusion of all children within our care.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to deliver learning and have impact on all pupils. We want you to make a real difference.

A full training and induction programme will be provided for the right candidate. We are a very caring school with effective structures to support staff in their roles. Information about the school

Our school has been part of the Veritas Multi Academy Trust since May 2018. Ofsted report September 2022 rates our school as GOOD with an OUTSTANDING Early Years. Our irresistible curriculum and inclusive ethos ensures that all children achieve their potential.

The school is situated in the beautiful city of Canterbury, benefitting from many excellent cultural opportunities. We have wonderful grounds, including a forest school. Learning outside the classroom is a school priority.

We are on an exciting journey to rebuild our school and are working with the Department for Education on a new build project.
