The Post

Required for an immediate start, the Trustees are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and qualified Cover Supervisor/Learning Mentor.

This post involves a blend of supervising lessons for absent teachers, acting as a Learning Mentor to individuals identified by pastoral staff and running the Learning Resource Centre outside of the school day.

Candidates should be committed to the value and purpose of education and the role may suit an individual with an interest in teaching as a long term career.

Barton Court Grammar School (BCGS) is a state, selective, co-educational school with a strong reputation for its high academic standards and its caring and supportive ethos. The School is an accredited ‘Advanced Thinking School’ and is also the lead school of Barton Court Academy Trust (BCAT). The Charles Dickens School (CDS), a state, non-selective, co-educational secondary school joined BCAT on 1 March 2017 and Barton Manor School (BMS), our free school, which is also a non-selective co-educational secondary school opened in September 2022 to Year 7.
