School Business Manager - Swingate Primary School

Swingate Primary School is looking to appoint a School Business Manager. Swingate Primary School is part of The Bluebell Federation which includes Horsted Infant School, Horsted Junior School and Burnt Oak Primary School. We are a large three form entry, successful school with extensive grounds and dedicated and hardworking staff. Our budget is well managed and we have robust policies and procedures in place. We recognise that the role of School Business Manager is pivotal in the strategic vision to move the school forward alongside day to day tasks to ensure it is efficient and effective. We also recognise that new members of staff bring new outlooks and experience and we are open to change. You will be the Swingate Primary School Business Manager for 4.5 days a week and monitor the budget of another school in the federation for a fixed 0.5 days a week from your base at Swingate School.

We are looking for someone who has/is/can:

experience and a track record of being successful in an educational setting.

qualification in school business management

organised, approachable and have a visible presence within the school.

 financially astute leader with experience of current school I.T. systems.

 competent and efficient in all areas of HR.

manage the site and facilities across the school which includes the delegation to others.

 follow the procedures and policies of safer recruitment.

 line manage the site manager.
