The Whitstable School has an opportunity to appoint a Food Technician.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Technology Department. Working alongside subject teachers, you will help ensure that a safe, effective and efficient technician service is delivered. The role will include the provision of technical advice and assistance in the classroom supporting pupils and teaching staff with learning activities.

The Technology Department is committed to delivering practical and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a keen interest in Food Technology
  • Have a willingness to undertake CPD to continue to develop knowledge & skills
  • Be able to relate well to children and adults
  • Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

The successful applicant will report to the Head of Technology and will work alongside subject teachers.
