Riverview Junior School is a large 4 form entry, very friendly and successful Junior school on the outskirts of Gravesend. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated SENCO Assistant to Provide administrative and organisational support to our SENCO.

This role is for 18.75 hours per week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday term time only. The salary is based on Kent Range 4 £21,389 full time equivalent, an actual pro-rata salary of £9,165.08.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills. They must be reliable enthusiastic, organised, pro-active and a multi-tasker who enjoys all aspects of administrative work.

 The successful candidate will:

  • have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • have excellent communication and administrative skills
  • be confident in the use of IT with a good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel

Information about the school

Riverview Junior School is a very popular four form entry Key Stage 2 school on a large site we share with the Infant School.

Our extensive site offers lots of opportunities for outdoor learning, including an outdoor library, two football pitches, MUGA, outdoor intervention area, animal farm and forest school, and we offer large well-resourced classrooms.

We are delighted to announce that our recent Ofsted inspection, carried out in February 2022, graded the school’s overall effectiveness as ‘Good’ with ‘Behaviour Attitudes’, ‘Personal Development and Leadership Management’ all being graded as Outstanding;.
