Ebbsfleet Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Teacher of Geography who will join us in September 2024. The ideal candidate will have both the commitment and ability to enthuse and motivate our students to ensure excellent progress is made by all. They will be a dynamic teacher who encourages a love for the subject through both their teaching and their involvement in co-curricular offers. The successful candidate should have a genuine passion for the subject, the ability to be an outstanding teacher and be committed to raising achievement, raising aspirations and going the extra mile.

This is a full-time, permanent position and the salary offered is MPS/UPS commensurate with experience + London Fringe Allowance + TLR for the right candidate.

Information about the school

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 30 geographically organised academies (14 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
