Mini Hive Early Years Practitioner

Up to 12 hours per week

(Three hours per evening, Mondays to Thursdays, 3.30pm until 6.30pm)

 

St Michael's Term time (33 weeks pa)

 

We have an wonderful opportunity to take on the role of Early Years Practitioner within our expanding after school provision.  Our Mini Hive currently runs for two evenings per week, but we are looking to extend this to four evenings, Monday to Thursday.  We are looking for applicants who are interested in working one or more of these evenings (nb. different staff could cover different days).

 

Our Nursery and Kindergarten Pre-schoolers are aged between 2 and 4 years and we are looking for adults who enjoy working with this age range. The Mini Hive is looking for someone who is full of fun and enthusiasm and very practical. The children have free flow play and eat tea before their parents collect them at 6pm.

 

You will be working closely with our Hive After School Manager in this friendly, fun and modern environment, surrounded by our energetic children.

Based on 6 hours per week, 33 weeks per annum:

NVQ3 qualified salary is £2,895.31 per annum pro rata (£26,204 FTE)

Non-NVQ3 salary is £2,550.58 per annum pro rata (£23,084 FTE)

 

These rates are applicable to those aged 23 or over, applicants below the age of 23 would have an adjusted salary in line with national minimum wage rates.

St Michael's Prep School is a co-educational day school, rated ‘Excellent’ by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in our last inspection.
