Science Laboratory Technician

Kent range 7 qualified ( Kent range 5-6 Unqualified)

Required for immediate start

35 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 Staff Development Day

A vacancy has become available for a Science Laboratory Technician for 35 hours per week to work and support the teaching and learning needs of the students at Wrotham School.

The candidate will need to have Maths and English at GCSE grade C or above, with previous experience (and or) an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject as essential. However there is an opportunity for this role to be filled by an unqualified candidate, with the expectation that should you be successful, you will complete the relevant training towards a recognised qualification.

The role is term time only plus 1 Staff Development Day and attracts the following salary, based on level of qualification:

  • Kent Range 7 (Qualified) at £25,378 - £28,466 (pro rata for 35 hours a week)
  • Kent Range 5-6 (Unqualified) at £22,595-23,693 (pro rata for 35 hours a week)
