We want someone who is:

  • Aspirational and inspirational with a strong work ethic;
  • A strong team player who can collaborate with others in supporting school development;
  • Willing to share and positively promote our values and inclusive ethos;
  • A passionate teacher with high expectations of children and adults;

What we can offer the right person:

  • A school where reading is the key to future learning, embedded within an ‘infectious’ reading culture;
  • Well-behaved pupils and an active and supportive parent community;
  • A skilled, proactive and energetic team of Teaching Assistants supporting classes on a daily basis;
  • Regular non-contact time and regular reviews of teacher workload;
  • Experienced and supportive colleagues;
  • An environment that actively promotes work-life balance and family values;
  • A school (and federation) where leadership has an open-door policy and value your ideas;
  • A warm, supportive team at all levels, dedicated to putting the children at the heart of decision making.

Information about the school

We are a small federation, consisting of our Infant and Junior schools (both 2-form entry). We created our federation 6 years ago in order to ensure consistently strong practice across the primary phase. Since its creation, the federation has gone from strength to strength, harboring a strong community feel, with outstanding relationships with our parents, and children who feel happy, safe and demonstrate a real willingness to learn.

While still 2 separate schools with our own identities, we have a shared governing body and the leadership team works very closely together, sharing its vision and learning behaviours of Creativity, Exploration, Learning and Kindness in order to give our pupils every chance of success as they move onto their next stages in development.

Children genuinely do come at the heart of all of our decision making and we are passionate about sharing our strong practice with the community – this is evident to all who visit us.

What our parents say about us:

“The whole family is part of the school and not just the pupils. It’s a warm, welcoming environment for all. Happy to have my child in this school.”

“Brookfield Juniors is fun and the children are happy and thrive 😊 We will always recommend this school to everyone”

“Amazing school. Has given all the opportunities to be the best version of herself”

“Staff are approachable and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble.”

“We’re so sad will be leaving this year. This school has brought the best out in my daughter, I am so proud to say she goes here. Absolutely wonderful!”
