There are lots of exciting changes happening at Kent Teach this year and we are really pleased to be able to share news of our first big development!
June 3rd saw the launch of a blog and forum for the Kent Teach site. We hope that you will find these to be useful resources and take advantage of the opportunity to share ideas and resources with other teachers in Kent.
The Kent Teach blog is a public facing blog owned by Kent County Council (“KCC”). Run by the Kent Teach team, on KCC’s behalf, the blog is open for use by bloggers who have been approved by KCC, and aims to give readers an insight into teaching in Kent. The blog can be accessed from the home page and is open to any visitors to Kent Teach.
The content of the blog will be updated once a week or more often if content allows and will be made up of posts from the Kent Teach team, regular contributors and guest bloggers. The regular contributors are teachers and staff currently working in Kent schools, union reps and trainee teachers.
The Kent Teach forum is a discussion board to be used by members of Kent Teach to share information, advice and resources with their peers. Accessed via the members’ only area of the website, you must have a Kent Teach login to be able to access the forum.
Don’t forget to visit the blog or forum and start getting involved!
