The Doctor of Education is a part-time professional doctorate, aimed at those who have 3 years or more employment experience in an education role (they may be teachers, managers, staff developers, careers officers, etc) and who (usually) already hold a masters qualification.
This provides an opportunity to research an area of current professional practice, and can therefore not only provide important professional development but also help to further develop research capacity in the institution in which you work. We are now processing applications for the new academic year to begin in September 2013.
We are holding an open evening on Tuesday 25th June 2013 and would welcome anyone drop in between 4.30 and 7pm.
Details of the open evening can be found here: http://eddopenevening-eorg.eventbrite.co.uk
If you need any further information, please don't hesitate to contact the Course Director, Dr Carole Leathwood (020 7133 2088, c.leathwood@londonmet.ac.uk) who will be happy to answer your questions and/or to have an informal discussion with anyone who is interested in the programme.
