Life Education Centres, a national charity offering positive drug prevention programmes for children from 5 years plus, require an enthusiastic and motivated person to work in one of its specialised mobile classrooms travelling to primary schools throughout Shepway, Dover and Ashford. The present teacher is moving away from this area with her family.
This post is offered on a 1-year, full-time renewable contract.
You will have experience of teaching or working with children and may have QTS. Experience and knowledge of drug and health issues would be an advantage, although full training is given. A particular interest in Drama would be useful, with the personality to capture the imagination and confidence of a young audience.
You will need use of your own car and salary will be based on normal teachers' pay scales, dependent on qualifications and experience.
