These Terms and Conditions are in relation to entry into the “Your Perfect Kent Day” competition run by Kent-Teach.com, a department within Kent County Council (KCC). Terms and Conditions for Kent-Teach.com are also available.
All participants will be deemed to have accepted, and be bound by, these terms and conditions, and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material as if they were set out in these terms and conditions.
1. Closing date for the competition is 23rd November 2012 and entries must be received by 23:59 hrs on this date. Only entries that have been completed in full will be considered. 2. There shall only be one winner in this competition. 3. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees from KCC and Councillors, their immediate families or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. 4. No purchase is necessary for entry to the draw. 5. Participants must have a valid email address to participate. 6. The winner agrees to the use of their name, details and image in any promotional activity following the competition. 7. The winner will be required to supply evidence of their trip in the form of text, video and photos. 8. Any materials uploaded by any of the participants (text, video, photos) may be used to promote KCC and its employment opportunities. 9. KCC has the right to disqualify any entry not made in accordance with these terms and conditions. 10. Third party or bulk entries will be excluded from the draw. 11. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not received by KCC. 12. There is no prize or cash alternative and no element of the prize is transferable. 13. After the closing date entries will be shortlisted down to five finalists and the winner will be selected by public vote. The winner will be the candidate that receives the most votes. Voting will be a public vote via the competition Facebook page. 14. The winner will be notified by email on 19th December 2012 and will be required to claim their prize by 5.30pm. 15. The prize is required to be taken by 31st January 2012. 16. KCC reserves the right to cancel or suspend any prize or the competition at any point, without liability to the prize winner. 17. Prize packages are detailed on www.kent-teach.com. Winner must select only ONE of the packages available. 18. Package 1 & 3 are available for 2 people only. Package 2 is available for 2 people or a family of four. 19. For Freedom of Information requests regarding the name and county of the winner send a SAE marked to Kent Teach, Room 3.32 Sessions House, County Hall, County Road, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ. 20. In the event that KCC (having used its reasonable endeavours to do so) is unable to contact the winner within a reasonable period of the draw then KCC reserves the right to select another winner from the finalists. 21. The decision by KCC is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 22. This free prize draw terms and conditions are governed by English law. 24. The personal details that are supplied to KCC will be used only for the purpose of this prize draw and will not be passed onto any third party for marketing purposes.
