I am pleased to have joined the Kent-Teach team in September 2022 following a rewarding six years as a primary school educator in Kent. My experience encompasses teaching across both KS1 and KS2, instilling in me a profound appreciation for the nuances of educational dynamics. While my journey in teaching has been fulfilling, I decided to branch into other areas of the education sector with the hope of inspiring other teachers into schools supporting schools with the retention of quality staff.

Bringing a strong background in education, my transition to Kent-Teach is a natural progression fuelled by a deep-rooted familiarity with the platform, having utilised its resources throughout my teaching career. I am invigorated by the prospect of contributing to Kent-Teach's mission, particularly in boosting its visibility and efficacy through strategic marketing initiatives and platform enhancements.

As we embark on a journey of innovation and growth, I am eager to leverage my expertise to drive impactful change and usher in a new era of excellence for Kent-Teach.

I joined the Kent-Teach team in January 2024 having recently left the classroom. I was a primary school teacher for nearly 8 years in Kent and London though I mainly worked in KS2 I also have experience working in KS1 as well as leading subjects (Reading and History). I am incredibly passionate about education and teaching and although I loved being in the classroom, I wanted to branch out and put my knowledge and experience to use in a different area. As a teacher, I used Kent Teach frequently and I am excited to work alongside the team and the amazing schools we represent. At Kent-Teach, I will be supporting the team in promoting Kent-Teach as well as the profession of teaching. I will be creating and running campaigns, competitions and supporting schools in recruiting and retaining their staff as well as showcasing the importance of the profession. I will be working with the Kent Teach and HR Connect team as well as staff and schools across Kent to fight the teacher shortage crisis. I am excited about the future of Kent-Teach and sharing the projects and campaigns we have planned with you.

I joined the Kent-Teach team in September 2023 as an Apprentice, only recently leaving school, I felt I was able to offer an understanding of schools as it was still fresh in my mind. My role in the Kent-Teach team is to offer support to other members of the team, handle the Kent-Teach inbox, answer the phone, set up school accounts, create microsites, support with additional features and advertising. I also create the social media content and monitor it alongside Danyelle. I am embarking on a marketing apprenticeship which I will be putting to use within the team reshaping the current marketing strategy and service.
