Dartford

Dartford, situated in the North West area of Kent, is a popular location for commuters due to its close proximity to London.  The transport links are excellent with easy access to the M25 motorway and the high speed link to London.  Ebbsfleet International Station has made getting to the coast for day trips or weekend breaks on the continent fast and stress free.  The neighbouring towns of Gravesend, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge are easily accessible and hold plenty of opportunity to delve into the rich history and heritage of Kent.

The town itself is brimming with great sporting facilities and boasts an Olympic-standard Judo centre. Dartford supports a huge wildlife area and the River Darent flows through the town. With many historic buildings and the Orchard Theatre you won't be short of entertainment or places to discover. Although principally a commuter town now, the area has a long history of religious, industrial and cultural importance.

Bluewater Shopping Centre, on Dartford's eastern edge, is billed as Europe's largest, most innovative shopping centre. Its vital statistics are impressive: 28 million visitors annually, 330 brands, 50 restaurants and bars and 13,000 free parking spaces.
