Are you looking for work over the summer holiday period? Are you looking to gain more experience working with multilingual pupils? Do you want to help develop children socially as well as academically?
The Emerald Cultural Institute is looking for teachers to join their summer program at the beginning of July. With over 30 years' experience in providing high quality English courses, ECI staff work hard to ensure that students are active, learning effectively and having the educational experience of a lifetime.

We are looking for teachers who can:

  • Work alongside the Senior Teacher to provide high quality English lessons and support children in applying this knowledge through activities and excursions.
  • Fully participate in planned scheduled activities and excursions to provide culturally enriching experiences for pupils.
  • Supervise and be responsible for the welfare and safety of students both inside and outside the classroom.

We welcome applications from recent graduates and those who have experience working with young people. Though an ESL/EFL qualification is desirable it is not necessary.

Information about the school

We run junior residential summer schools for international students aged 9-17 years who come to the UK on short holiday courses to learn English and have fun. We have both residential and non-residential posts available for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 week contracts. We have two centres: Cobham Hall (near Gravesend) running 30th June - 11th August Rose Bruford (Sidcup) running 30th June - 28th July

We are looking for teachers who can teach EFL/ESOL.
